Prahlad Nrsmha Das Adhikari began practicing yoga in 1971. He was initiated in 1981 into the Brahma Madhva Gaudiya Sampradaya Yoga lineage by his Guru, His Holiness Jayapataka Swami, a direct disciple of His Divine Grace A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. He was bestowed the Gayatri Mantra, which entitles him to study the ancient Vedic Texts. Since that time he has studied and taught the Vedic sciences, including Jyotish (Vedic Astrology), Planetary Gemology, Palmistry, Ayurveda and others. He considers it his duty to offer this practical and ancient wisdom as a service to others. He has dedicated his life to this service of sharing india’s timeless culture and therefore spends most of his year traveling extensively, lecturing at yoga centers and Universities around the globe, sharing the sweet fruit of India’s wealth with everyone he meets.
