Residing completely within the constellation of Aquarius is Shatabhisha, the 24th Nakshatra out of the 28 in Vedic Astrology. It is formed by a group of very faint stars and holds a span that extends from 6°40′ to 20°00′ Aquarius. The name Shatabhisha means “100 physicians.” The symbol used for this Nakshatra is an ox cart or sometimes, an empty circle. This star is often associated with fields of medicine and healing abilities.
The presiding deity of Shatabhisha Nakshatra is Lord Varuna. People born under this star are independent. Their demeanor resembles that of water and can be soothing yet hurtful on occasions. They can be harsh at times, yet are truthful by nature. They develop grief stricken personalities but are easily capable of conquering over their enemies.
