Hasta Nakshatra is the 13th of the 28 Nakshatras in Vedic Astrology and it consists of five stars: Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma, and Epsilon-Corvi. Hasta resides in the constellation of Virgo entirely and has a span of 10°00′ to 23°20′ Virgo. The symbol for this star is an open hand, and the meaning for the word Hasta is also “the hand.”

Hasta Nakshatra the actions and activities performed by the use of hands. As such, the people born under this star are diligent, hardworking and wise. The symbol ‘Hand’ also implies gestures of greetings. This is symbolic to the features of skill and respect towards others.
